Missing news, etc. will be added ASAP.

I know, I know, a week between updates is
pretty bad. So far, I have: rewritten almost all the HTML in the Articles section,
bringing the HTML up to 100%; updated all the HTML in the Manuals, etc. section; begun work on the Reviews
section (and subsequently decreased the percent finished); and fixed lots of little things here and there.
My goals for right now are to finish the Guides and FAQs section and Reviews section. These should
be done within the week.

Deezer here. I got this encouraging e-mail from MEGAߥTE the other day:
"Well my main HD crashed, so that is why I haven't been able to update or anything. I
have ZIP'd most of my needed files, so I'll be up and running as soon as I get a new drive. I am getting an
8.4GB HD, so there should be no problems with archiving now :) Also, I will be getting the internet again
soon, and am even going to put my crappy 486 online. I've gotten some new hardware, ie. 16-bit soundcard,
56K Modem, so I'll be set as soon as I get a new HD. School will be out on Thurs. too."
After Akki's update on the 23rd, a bunch of saved games showed up in my mailbox.
(Coincidence? :) So I guess I better get to work on that section...
Also, a few weeks ago I took over the links and webrings section. Netside just sent me
all the work he did for it, so you can expect an update there soon.

No, I am not back yet, just here to say that
I saw Star Wars. Woo. | |

As I poke around, I've fixed a few minor
things, notably in the articles and credits sections. The result of today's (Saturday's) work has been the
complete repair of the SaveRAMs and SaveStates section. Now all we need is for Deez
to update it ;)
On another note, it looks like Nintendo is taking its perrenial swing at emulation. They were able to get
snes9x.com shut down, and threatened SitC among others with lawsuits/etc. How they managed snes9x.com is
anyone's guess, but it seems like other threatened sites are getting off more easily. Also, n64 emulation
groups are, understandibly, lowering their profiles.

Small update: I rewrote the
credits page to reflect the newer site design, although some of the info on it is
still outdated. I should be able to get more basic re-writes and such done this weekend.
Also, I made myself a new, smaller icon. It looks better, too...

Ahh, good to have Akki back. (If you haven't
figured it out by now, he used to be known as RaG.) The reason I haven't been updating is a huge amount
of school work on top of my AP Calculus exam. Now that's over, I should have more time-- but not until I get
my regular school exams over. So, hopefully I'll update completely regularly after the 27th. ... damn, my
mouse just died... AGAIN. Well. I have set up my mail at coolmail.net now because of constant problems with deskmail.com. If you are looking for
a good web OR POP3 mail address, get coolmail! Their computer will even read your messages over their
toll-free number!
A note to people who mail me: Thanx for the interest in maintaining Patent Pending, but like you do need to
reply! (I've gotten a few mails about maintaining except no replies!) Also, if you are too stupid to
understand and technical speak at all, (ie. knowing what DOS is) please don't bother to mail me. Also if
you are going to insult me of some shit like that, don't even bother mailing. AND on top of that, make sure
you provide a valid return e-mail address if you have questions for me. Thanx for you support (heh,
right).
On a side note, me a a few of my friends went over to another friend's house and we stayed up to 3AM playing
on an NES! Somewhat because I had his PSX at my house, but we played a bunch of games, and made our way
through Final Fantasy (1). That is once we got the damn thing to work. :)

It's me again. If you don't remember me,
that's your problem. One quick but oh-so-nice tidbit of news: RPG-Net is up and running! It used to be one of the best RPG sites around, and it's
looking good already. Go ahead and check it out.
You should be seeing more regular updates from me now that finals are almost
over. | |

One of my friend's left his PSX over at
my house. I've tried playing some of the CDs with PSEmu Pro. My success rate it kind of low, but I can
say when it does work, it works perfectly (even on my bare-minimum machine, albeit slowly). I have yet
to try bleem!, but Primal Rage, one of the games I got to work did not even work in his PSX, yet it worked
on my computer.. I'll post a review of PSEmu Pro when I have the chance.. July?

Hey it's my birthday so like umm I'm still
no going to update (I don't have time!). Anyway, I just replaced my crappy 250MB HD with a
slightly-less-crappy 340MB HD. I've also been given a decent 16-bit soundcard (and after a week of looking
for drivers and M$ bugfixes, I won't go into it) have gotten it totally working. And I changed the LEDs on
my front panel to read '150' instead of '133', heh. I'll update ASAP.. meanwhile maybe I can get one of
the other staff to do something ;)
