Bloodlust Software

—Overview—
Callus is another emulator by the great people at Bloodlust Software, creators of Genecyst and
NESticle. Callus plays Capcom System 1 Arcade games like Street Fighter II and Final Fight.
Callus is currently DOS only and probably will stay only on DOS.
—File Types—
Callus uses a variety of different file types including .BIN , .ROM and numbered extensions.
—Graphics—
Up-to-par with the actual machines. Unfortunately the arcade games use a funky video mode;
the closest screen mode is 400x300... I recommend SDD to get the video mode because, like me,
most people's video cards don't support it.
—Sound—
Good emulation of the YM2151 and ADPCM mixer. The FM synths are a little off, but it still
sounds good. Unfortunately, Qsound games don't have any sound due to the files being
encrypted.
—Games Playable—
Forty-six games are currently playable.
—Problems—
With rotated games like 1941 the GUI rotates with the screen. Qsound games have no sound due
to ROM encryption. No hi-score saving. Saturday Night Slammasters crashes in one player mode
due to copy protection.
—Cool Features—
Real-time saved states. Video saving. Joystick support and, best of all, the GUI is similar
to NESticle's.
